Spring

We went to the Tulip Festival last weekend.  It was overcast and threatened to rain, but it was fun seeing all the spring flowers out in bloom.  I haven't been to the gardens in ages so it was all new to me.  I got zero good pictures of kids so I will remember the pretty blooms instead.

Emilia loves to scrunch her nose when she smiles.  She actually looks quite different smiling and not smiling!  Her hair definitely has a touch of copper red in it--but I don't know that we'll be lucky enough to get an Aunt Chrissy red head.  We think it may stick around as a strawberry brunette or something.

Although she's half out of the picture, I think this one captures her personality well.  She is always on the move with some mischievous purpose (most likely eating a tiny speck of garbage you forgot to vacuum).  Diaper changes are like trying to put a diaper on a bobcat.  Not easy.

Cinco

Time moves more quickly looking backward.  This girly is five already.  She's a detail oriented, creature loving, lover of all things silly kind of girl.  She is also hard to photo graph when she is excited for her birthday.

Yesterday the girls decided to have their own picnic and set up everything on their own while I was doing something else.  They enjoyed reading books and drinking water in the sunshine. The highlight of their outing was finding a lady bug.

Cute Overload

I snuck away for another quick visit to see darling Gia.  She is such a good baby.  It was fun snapping a few more pictures of her and Chrissy's little family!

This is my favorite one so far.

Happy Birthday Ivy!

It's hard to believe this cutie is three years old.  When we moved from Arizona she was Emilia's age and Noelle was just turning three.  Where has the time gone?  They still get flowers from daddy on their birthday.

Noelle drew a birthday picture--notice three of everything.

Noelle also wrapped up this little bird she made (months ago) for Ivy to open for her birthday.  She loved it.

Cuzzie

The girls have been eagerly awaiting meeting their new cousin, or "cuzzie" as we call her. Noelle thought her name should be Lemon.  Luckily for her, Aunt Chrissy and Jon had something better in mind.  Little Gia is completely adorable.  The girls haven't met her yet, but they love her already.

I love all the faces a baby can make.  Kissy face!

She loves her hands next to her face.

Bless you!

Mobile

We have one little girl who it tickled pink to be mobile.  A whole new world of opportunity lies before her (minus the world on the other side of the baby gate).

Her first picture day at school.  I tried to snap a few pictures while she watched the snow.

Easter Dress

Easter was last week but today was the day we dressed up.  Per normal household of small children, almost none of the pictures turned out.  Can you tell I told them to smile?  At least I got their braids--I was on top of hair this morning!

This was the sole survivor--but at least it was a good one.

Sun

We all seem to do better on days where we get to spend a little time in the sun.  Or I like to think so anyway.

Strike a pose!

One of Noelle's most unexcited faces ever.

One of the least flattering views of our house, but the girls favorite spot to stack weeds and catch ant friends.

It only took 10 minutes of blurry pictures to get this cutie.

Outside

After a number of cool cloudy days we finally had some sun.  The older girls soaked up some much needed vitamin D while baby was sleeping.  If you ever wonder why there are more pictures of Noelle--it's because Ivy won't hold still long enough for my camera to focus!

Cheese face!

Easter

We had a busy (but good) General Conference Easter weekend with various family gatherings.  Sunday morning Noelle asked if the Easter bunny was real or not.  We told her it was just for fun--but once they had to hunt for baskets she was sure we were joking and there really was a bunny.  She has declared that next year she will wait and watch for the bunny.

Usually I just find baskets around the house for Easter (it's one more thing I don't have to store).  This year I did buy new baskets--but for the express purpose of corralling all of those little shoes!  They are usually everywhere and our little tiny basket was not keeping up with the mess.

She doesn't get puzzles yet--but still has fun playing with the pieces.
